-               Zhangye Economic and Technological Development ZoneZhangye Economic and Technological Development Zone, originally Zhangye Industrial Park, was established in 1994 and became a national-level economic and technological development zone in March 2013. 
-     Baiyin National Hi-tech Industrial Development ZoneBaiyin High-tech Industrial Development Zone grew from the Baiyin High Technology Industrial Park of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a center of new materials high-tech industrialization as selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology. 
-               Lanzhou-Baiyin National Innovation Demonstration ZoneThe zone fully uses locations, innovative resources and the industrial foundation of Lanzhou and Baiyin to actively and experimentally carry out innovative policies and inspire creative companies. 
-               Lanzhou New AreaPreparation for building Lanzhou New Area began in August 2010 and led to the area's becoming the fifth national-level new area in August 2012. The plan of the area involves six towns in Yongdeng and Gaolan counties in Lanzhou. 
-               Jinchang Economic and Technological Development ZoneJinchang Economic and Technological Development Zone was built in August 1988 and was among the earliest five development zones approved by the Gansu government. 
-     Tianshui Economic and Technological Development ZoneTianshui Economic and Technological Development Zone was upgraded to a national-level development zone in 2010. It now administers five industrial parks and the Qiaonan commerce, culture and tourism area.
