Yinchuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), founded in 1958, was the first 3A-grade TCM hospital in Ningxia Hui autonomous region. It mainly focuses on medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation.

The hospital has 34 specialized departments, which are fully equipped with 410 patient beds. The hospital has 566 employees, among whom are 493 professional and technical personnel, and 110 with senior professional and technical titles. There are also one doctoral candidate and more than 100 master’s degree holders, as well as one postdoctoral cooperative supervisor and seven postgraduate supervisors.

Its anorectal department is a key specialty at autonomous region level and as a key specialty of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine during the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-2010).

It also has more than 100 pieces of modern diagnosis and treatment equipment, such as a spiral CT, a DR, a four-dimensional color ultrasound, a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, an electronic laparoscope, a hysteroscope, an electronic colonoscope, an electronic gastroscopy, and an automatic biochemical analyzer.
