Gansu's Dunhuang received its first winter snowfall on Nov 23, transforming the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring Scenic Area into a stunning blend of sand and snow. The chime of camel bells echoed across the snow-dusted dunes, adding a touch of poetry to the vast desert.
Snowflakes swept across the ridges of Mingsha Mountain, draping the millennium-old Gobi in a pure white coat. The Crescent Spring appeared like a piece of green jade nestled in white jade, its surface veiled in a light mist that softened the surrounding poplar trees and pavilions into a classic ink-wash painting. Snow sprinkled over reed beds, the rustling sound harmonizing with the spring's tranquility in a perfect winter melody.

The golden dunes sparkled with silver-white accents. Underfoot, the softness of sand blended with the crisp sound of snow, as camel caravans carried visitors along snow-kissed trails, their bells breaking the desert silence.

Dunhuang is not just an ancient oasis in an arid land, but a spring of love for my family.
