Wushan Industrial Concentration Zone in Wushan county, Tianshui, Gansu province, is a hive of construction activity. Spanning approximately 3,149 mu (210 hectares) and operating under the "One Zone, Three Parks" model, this provincial-level development zone forms the core of the county's industrial framework.
The zone's Chengguan Park focuses on light industry, its Yuanyang Mali Park develops green building materials, and Weichuan Park specializes in agricultural and livestock product processing. Together, they have attracted 68 enterprises, including 34 industrial and 27 commercial firms, with seven more under construction, and have created over 4,000 jobs, with an expected total output value of 1.77 billion yuan ($249.41 million) in 2025.
At Wushan Vegetable Master Food Co, intelligent production lines operate efficiently in sterile workshops. This year, the company has generated over 20 million yuan in foreign exchange earnings from exporting mushrooms and garlic to Thailand and Vietnam, and driven more than 5 million yuan in local sales through the cultivation of 600,000 mushroom sticks.
Neighboring Wushan Xiangda Camel Feed Co, part of the Tangrenshen Group's northwest production base, has produced 101,000 metric tons of feed this year, achieving an output value of 320 million yuan, and providing stable employment for over 200 people. Project manager Zhou Jianqiang said, "While improving feed quality, we also guide farmers in scientific breeding to ensure both stable production and increased income."
