In Dunhuang, Gansu province, the low-altitude economy is becoming a new driver for cultural and tourism development. Skyward experience programs, such as helicopter and glider rides, have gained immense popularity at scenic spots, offering tourists a brand-new perspective of viewing Dunhuang from the sky and propelling local cultural and tourism integration to new heights.

At the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring scenic area during autumn, low-altitude flight projects are particularly eye-catching. Helicopters take visitors hundreds of meters into the air for a breathtaking view of the Crescent Spring. Like a piece of jade embedded in the golden desert, tourists see a magnificent picture alongside Mingsha Mountain. Powered gliders skim over the sand dunes, allowing tourists to experience the vast and majestic charm of the desert in a thrilling manner.

Since the launch of the Dunhuang Feitian general aviation project, it has effectively connected key attractions such as the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring and the Yadan National Geological Park, creating a tourism model that integrates aerial and ground experiences. This project not only shows off Dunhuang's natural and cultural landscapes but also brings Silk Road culture to life through immersive methods.
