Jinchang in Gansu province is an emerging resource-based industrial city known as "the nickel capital of China" due to its strong nickel production industry. The city recently presented service cards with a nickel city logo printed on it to local outstanding entrepreneurs, describing the city's improved business services.

"The first batch of Jinchang's entrepreneur service cards were given to over 460 entrepreneurs," said Zhang Yangcai, director of the city's development and reform commission.

The card recipients include outstanding representatives of local enterprises in various fields, including high-output industrial, commercial, service, and construction enterprises, outstanding leaders of science and technology innovation enterprises and high-tech enterprises, as well as investors and executive teams who have attracted major investment projects.

The service card adopts an annual review mechanism to ensure that honors and contributions are matched. Cardholders can enjoy a variety of free services within the city, including public transportation, scenic area tours, learning and training, sports and fitness, cultural arts, and more.

Cardholders and their parents enjoy priority treatment in health, elderly care, and housing, while the children of cardholders can receive special subsidies and policy support in areas such as school enrollment and employment.

With the implementation of various measures regarding the business environment, Jinchang's development vitality continues to burst forth. From January to April, the city added 2,986 business entities, a year-on-year increase of 19.8 percent.

  • On June 10, the implementation plan for the construction of a national heritage route along the Hexi Corridor was released at a news conference held in northwest China's Gansu Province.
