Qingyang Sachet Folk Culture Festival kicks off
The five-day 20th Qingyang Sachet Folk Culture Festival kicked off in Qingyang, Northwest China's Gansu province, on May 29.
Sachet is a unique folk embroidery craft in Qingyang, fusing ancient totems with modern elements and embodying a thousand years of agricultural civilization and traditional Chinese medicine culture.
Qingyang sachets are made of silk and colored cloth and use more than 40 needlework techniques, including three-dimensional embroidery. They are filled with Chinese medicinal herbs such as mugwort and angelica, boasting both decorative and medicinal value.

A business promotion conference also took place that day, with the signing of agreements for 32 projects on-site, costing a combined 9.66 billion yuan ($1.35 billion).
During the festival period, Qingyang is launching a series of rich and colorful activities such as a poetry festival, a folk culture product exhibition, and an immersive intangible cultural heritage experience event.
