On March 20, Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport inaugurated its new T3 terminal, consolidating all domestic and international flights under one roof. Consequently, the former T1 and T2 terminals have ceased operations.
As a key national transportation project under China's "14th Five-Year Plan," the Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport T3 terminal innovatively adopts a "main building + three concourses" design. Spanning 400,000 square meters, the terminal is more than four times the combined size of the former T1 and T2 terminals. It is equipped with over 70 boarding bridges and is designed to accommodate an annual passenger throughput of 38 million, cargo and mail throughput of 300,000 tons, and 300,000 aircraft takeoffs and landings.
