Lanzhou New Area hosts 2025 talent exchange conference
In Lanzhou, Gansu province, the 2025 Spring Breeze Action and "Industrial New City · Smart Future" Talent Exchange Conference in Lanzhou New Area was a resounding success. With 333 companies and 78,000 eager job seekers in attendance, the event facilitated 42,000 preliminary employment agreements, promising a bright future for the region's workforce.

Under the theme "Gathering Talents · Strengthening Industry · Promoting Development," the conference focused on facilitating direct interactions between enterprises and talents, as well as matching supply with demand. The event aimed to deliver policies, job opportunities, and services while establishing a precise talent exchange platform for the province, helping enterprises recruit talent and enabling professionals to secure higher-quality employment.
The venue featured five specialized zones: talent negotiation, policy consultation, talent housing support, new district development achievements showcase, and employment assistance. These zones comprehensively displayed Lanzhou New Area's advantages in supporting enterprise development, industrial clustering, and its superior innovation and entrepreneurship environment. This setup allowed talents to experience firsthand the achievements of the national-level new area, encouraging them to invest and develop their careers in Lanzhou New Area.

In recent years, Lanzhou New Area has vigorously promoted the integrated development of education, technology, and talent. Over the past five years, it has organized more than 180 talent recruitment events, including talent exchange conferences and campus recruitment tours, involving over 8,500 enterprises. Hundreds of thousands of college graduates participated in both online and offline recruitment, attracting more than 60,000 outstanding professionals to the area. This has formed an innovation matrix comprising 84 provincial-level innovation platforms, over 1,000 technology innovation enterprises, 126 national-level high-tech enterprises, 31 specialized and innovative SMEs, along with hundreds of leading talents and more than 50,000 scientific and technological professionals working in synergy.
