In order to artistically depict this monumental cross-century project, Dingxi city has specially invited and organized over 70 artists to conduct a 20-day field sketching activity in Anding, Tongwei, Longxi, Lintao, Weiyuan, and Min counties.

With full enthusiasm, deep gratitude, and exquisite artistic techniques, the artists have spent over a year creating more than 70 pieces of art on the theme of the Tao River Diversion Project.

After conducting on-site investigations of the towering mountains and rugged terrain, valleys and hilltops traversed by the project. The lush villages, vibrant fields, and herds of cattle and sheep, the artists were inspired to infuse their creations with passion and desire.

These art pieces vividly portray the boundless vitality of the land in the central part of Gansu and showcase the rich and diverse inner worlds of the creators.
