Tourists have come from all over to catch a glimpse of the fascinating ginkgo views in Tianhe village, Longnan, Northwest China's Gansu province, as the tree leaves turn golden yellow during the peak of autumn.

Thousand-year-old ginkgo trees surround the entire village, and the roads are paved with golden leaves. It is refreshing to sip ginkgo tea, eat ginkgo fruits, and enjoy the beautiful views under the trees.

Tianhe village has abundant sunshine and rain all year round. Thanks to the mild climate and fertile soil, over 150 ancient ginkgo trees grow well there for more than a thousand years old. Centennial ginkgo trees are also a common sight in the village. Chinese Society of Forestry thus awarded it "China's Most Beautiful Ginkgo Village" in November 2017.

The beautiful scenery has given a boost to local economy. Supported by the local government, a beautiful rural tourism demonstration site was created that integrates ecological health care, leisure and entertainment, and agricultural products.
