The 4th China Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Expo, scheduled to run from August 23 to 26 in Dingxi, Gansu province, will serve as an important mechanism for advancing China's TCM industry, according to health officials at a news conference on Monday.
The expo, with an eye on inheritance, innovation, openness and sharing, will consist of a dozen activities such as forums, exhibitions and trade fairs.
Compared with previous editions, this year's event will showcase a more diverse range of exhibits. It will feature over 500 varieties of authentic Chinese medicinal materials such as danggui, dangshen, and huangqi, as well as medicines, health products, and innovative pharmaceutical achievements.
Over 100 participating enterprises will gather to discuss extending the industrial chain, attracting projects and expanding the market to reach consensus on high-quality development and deepening exchanges and cooperation.
A new TCM Material planting and processing machinery exhibition area and a health and wellness service experience street have been established, in addition to the existing three exhibition halls. Also, an online VR exhibition hall has been set up, making it convenient for everyone to view the exhibition online.
