Vast areas of Liujiaxia Reservoir featuring intertidal mudflat are bursting with splendid scenery due to the low rainfall.

Liujiaxia reservoir, a major water system on the upper reaches of the Yellow River, is located in Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Northwest China's Gansu province.

As of 8:00 am on Aug 6, the water level of the reservoir was 1,720.74 meters, the lowest data this year.
