On July 17, the 3rd Session of the China-Tajikistan Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation was held in Dunhuang, Northwest China's Gansu province.

During the event, Zhang Guangjun, vice minister of Science and Technology of China, and vice director of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikista Abdussator Saidov visited an exhibition featuring technology cooperation among countries and areas along the Belt and Road at the Science and Technology Department of Gansu Province.

Abdussator Saidov introduced Tajikistan's latest technological achievements and multiple measures to promote scientific and technological development.

He said that China is an important partner of Tajikistan in the field of scientific and technological innovation, noting that the two countries have reached agreements on agricultural technology, environmental protection, energy resources, and food safety. He looks forward to expanding the scope of cooperation and achieving more practical results.

According to Zhang, China will continue to improve the level and efficiency of cooperation as well as increased efforts to develop the technology and improve the livelihoods of the two peoples.
