Northwest China's Gansu province held an awards ceremony for the 2022 aerial photography competition with the theme "Beautiful Gansu" on April 1, in Lanzhou City, capital of the province.

Thirty videos won Excellent Works Awards and 10 short video creators won the individual awards for culture and tourism. The culture and tourism bureaus of Zhangye, Dingxi, Qingyang and Jinchang cities won the Excellent Organization Awards.

The event also kicked off the new season of the aerial photography competition for 2023.

Co-sponsored by Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Gansu Provincial Radio and Television Group, the event aims to promote the development of Gansu's cultural tourism industry and expand brand awareness and influence of the province.

To date, the event has released 863 videos on the internet, which have been seen more than 84.82 million times.
