Spring plowing goes forward in Zhangye

Farmers are busy with their in spring plowing in Xinjian village, Gaotai county, Zhangye, Gansu province.
They are expected to sow 3,493 hectares of seeds of spring wheat with the help of machinery.
Accordingly, Zhangye has constructed high-standard farmland and separated its grain functional areas to promote soil testing and fertilization, pest control and the use of many other new technologies.
At present, over 39,300 hectares of spring wheat have been sown across the whole city.
