From Feb 24 to 25, Qingyang, of Northwest China's Gansu province, launched an international media tour to unleash the potential of local cultural and rural tourism. 

Expats and visiting groups were led through folk museums, old villages and other fascinating aspects of the city.

Eleven journalists were invited from more than 10 overseas media outlets, including the UNESCO Courier magazine, Portugal's Jornal de Noticias, South Korea's Aju Business Daily, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency, China Arab TV, and Vietnam's Nhân Dân.
