Seminar on Dunhuang art, Silk Road held online
An online lecture featuring Dunhuang art and the Silk Road was held on Nov 15, as part of the Global Linking of Dunhuang Culture to Embassies and Consulates - Chinese Consulate General in Romania activity.

Staff from the embassy and overseas Chinese associations, teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, and lovers of Chinese culture in Romania attended the event.
Zhang Xiantang, former vice president of the Dunhuang Academy, gave a speech on the ups and downs of the Dunhuang Grottoes and the booming scenario of cross-cultural communication along the Silk Road.
During the activity, Chinese Ambassador to Romania Han Chunlin invited Romanian Chinese linguists and archaeological researchers to pay attention to Dunhuang studies, help in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road", and to promote person-to-person cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The event was sponsored by the foreign affairs office of the people's government of Gansu province and the Dunhuang Academy, and undertaken by the Chinese Embassy in Romania and the Dunhuang municipal people's government.
