The five-day-long International Children's Art Exhibition titled "Amazing Dunhuang" concluded on Oct 7, at the Dunhuang Art Academy. It featured more than 1,000 outstanding children's paintings from dozens of cities across the country.

Since the start of its planning in January, the exhibition received a steady stream of submissions, causing a sensation on social media platforms. Whether tender strokes or fine line drawings, they all depict Dunhuang in the eyes of children.

The event is expected to help children fall in love with the charming ancient city, and encourage people to take historical and cultural sites into their hearts.

With the support of the ICAE International Children's Art Exhibition Organizing Committee, the exhibition is a highlight of 2022 Dunhuang culture events.

It is also a herald for the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the academy next year.
