The 1.09 km long and 36.5 m wide bridge is a prominent project of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan (2016-20)" in Jingyuan county, Baiyin, Northwest China’s Gansu province.

The bridge will greenlight vehicles at the speed of 60 km per hour on the main road, and 30 km per hour on the auxiliary road.

With a total investment of 405 million yuan($56.05 million), the bridge started construction in July 2017 and was completed on time, despite the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
