It was dull and slightly drizzly in the Gobi desert on June 26.
After the mild rain, a red sun slowly went down over the horizon in the Dunhuang Yardang National Geopark in Northwest China's Gansu province.
The gorgeous afterglow and the darkening clouds resulted in a quiet and magnificent desert sunset landscape.
