Gansu county is bracing for Honeysuckle harvest

Honeysuckle harvest season has begun in Yanguoxia town, Yongjing county, Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Northwest China's Gansu province.
Over 333 hectares of production area in the town is covered in sweet-smelling yellow, pink, or white flowers. Known as Jinyinhua in Chinese, meaning "golden and silver flower," the herb can withstand low temperature and arid conditions in the northwest region.
The honeysuckle has gradually unleashed its power and become a key tool in driving the local people to increase their income and become rich.
"The volume of Honeysuckle purchase here reached 1,000 to 1,500 kg a day, and their quality are quite good," said Luo Junxia, a village officer in the town.
