Kongtong Mountain is renowned as "The Top Taoist Mountain of the World". It is considered holy ground where the Yellow Emperor questioned Guangchengzi about Taoism. This is also the birthplace of Kongtong martial arts. The Kongtong School in Jin Yong's martial arts novels originates here.
