Longnan garlic harvest in full swing

With April approaching, workers are busy picking fresh garlic sprouts in Chengxian county, Longnan, Gansu province, as the harvest season has started.
Chengxian is known as a vegetable base with garlic products as its major crops. Garlic sprouts, garlic bulbs and garlic bolts here are fresh, tender, and rich in propylene sulfide, which are enjoying a high reputation in the market.
Accordingly, the garlic planting area in the county has reached 1,533 hectares this year, and sale of garlic products has become a pillar of the local industry.
