Yunxin Group in Anyang township, Zhangye, Northwest China's Gansu province recently imported more than 3,000 Jersey cows from New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
They cattle will live at the foot of the Qilian Mountains. They are expected to enjoy flourishing pastures and pollution-free natural water so they can provide high-quality dairy products for domestic and foreign consumers.
Jersey cows are rare, accounting for only 1 percent of all dairy cows in the world. Their milk is favored by consumers for its rich, creamy taste and high nutrient density.
