Zhangye pursues carbon neutrality
A refuse-burning boiler unit at a Western Power biomass power generation station in Zhangye, Northwest China's Gansu province, is in operation on June 25, 2021. The unit can process 600 tons of local domestic garbage and produce 200,000 kWh of electricity every day, and the waste can also be made into bricks or cement.
