Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone
Located in the Lanzhou New Area, Gansu province, the bonded zone was approved by the State Council on July 15, 2014 and passed the acceptance check on Aug 18, 2015. On Dec 24 of the same year, it was put into operation.
The zone covers an area of 3.39 sq km, including a 0.53-sq-km area planned for affiliated facilities.
It boasts advantageous geographical location, since it is located in the middle of the Lanzhou-Yinchuan-Xining delta region, serving as a "golden channel" linking China to Central Asia, West Asia and East Europe and an important junction of the overland Eurasian Continental Bridge.
A group of expressways and highways such as the Lianyungang-Huoerguosi Expressway, Beijing-Tibet Expressway and the China National Highway 312 and 109, or G312 and G109 converged in the area.
The zone is about two kilometers away from the Zhongchuan International Airport and 12 km away from the Zhongchuan-Majiaping Railway.
It houses a bonded warehousing and logistics area, a bonded processing zone, a bonded operation area, a joint customs inspection zone, an exhibition area and an area for comprehensive supportive services.
